The amount of fun I had while doing this should be illegal. Seriously, I haven't enjoyed working on a drawing this much in my life. Maybe I'm a guy of simple tastes, I don't care. I can't wait to get started on another.
So it turned out radically different than I it started. Gone is Peter and the goofy joke, in with the creepy critters and sinister background. But that's what I've always loved about Earthworm Jim. On the one hand it's a hilarious laugh-riot, on the other it's got some of the creepiest levels and villains this side of Doc Duodenum's intestinal home planet.
The original drawing is huge. Jim's eye is bigger than my monitor. Which is probably why it took like 5 minutes for Photoshop to flatten the image...
Music listened to: EWJ 1 & 2 soundtracks. Over. And over. And over...
